| Ok let's get some things cleared... or riled up. you choose With one part of the the oath every servicemember takes
being "I will support and defend the Constitution "I will support
and defend the Constitution of the United States against all
enemies, foreign and domestic;" That to me means upholding the constitutional republic that
was set forth by the constitution and the bill of rights etc. If you ever read books on the founding fathers, several of
them from multiple authors, not from what you heard in history
class(they seem to miss important things), then you know that
the founding fathers like government but limited. In writing the constitution, it's more than just your rights
(which btw are being violated or in the process of), it's about
setting limits on government power. So by Lawerence saying
"reject socialism" he is essentially protecting the constitution
as he swore to do when he enlisted. You cannot have
socialism and a constitution that still works at the same time. Soiclialism isn't just a political party, it's a type of government,
so you telling Lawerence he should leave "politics" out of his
day is crazy. He is doing what he swore to do. And no.. it's not all about Obama, the reason I believe alot of
people don't like him nor congress, is that no one paid
attention to the government until he got elected. And no it
wasn't because he's black, it was due to his "ideaS" that he
spewed during his campaign and everyone just gobbled up
without realizing how that would affect them. That got alot of
people's attention, then congress.. a bigger discrace. They are
voted into office to express your opinion. And most the time,
they just do what their political party does.
I believe we should vote completely new members into
congress, except the ones who actually do what they are
elected to. No more life long politicians, stop making being a
senator or representative into a career. I made an obama shirt when he took the oath to become
president, i get bad looks all the time, hell i've even been
called racist by a member of this forum. I'm not a republican, i'm not a democrat. I'm a libertarian. IF
you don't know what that means, it means.. whatever is in the
constitution is what i want, nothing more, nothing less. No big
government, No subsidization of anything. I'm not going to write another novel on this forum, nor will the
mods like it.
